Deep snow makes for hungry critters. This young turkey has been hanging out by the house for a while now. Deer too, but I've already posted enough deer photos.
And these guys came later and found some crab apples to eat.

Wow! They get up in the trees?! I'd think they were too heavy, but I suppose they need to be able to get away from predators. You certainly have had your share of snow this winter! We go back and forth from mud to ice as usual. I've wiped Barkley's paws a thousand times, it seems. I started looking at paw washers on line...I may buy one yet.
ReplyDeleteThey roost in trees, but are not very good at flying. Quite clumsy in hopping around after apples, so fun to watch.
